Leaving Facebook was tough... but if I can do it, anyone can. With willpower comes responsibility, ya know? Besides... you can afford to do something else with your time for a little while... can't you? If even 1/10th of the Facebook population decided to do something else with their time, in protest of Facebook's dichotomous privacy stance, they would be shaking in their boots. Popular sites don't last forever, and Facebook will be replaced by a better alternative eventually. It's the only saving grace of capitalism... right?

Your car insurance company asks you to follow them via Twitter...

You must tweet in order to contact Support at your banking agency...

You can't seem to get enough ideas for home improvement projects thanks to Home Depot's tweets... too bad you never seem to peel your ass off that chair, either.

Ahhh... how incessantly dull our lives might be if it weren't for the almighty Twitter. And in case you're wondering why the shots above appear singed around the edges... well, if you hadn't figured out that we're in HELL by this point... perhaps you were one of those born with the gift of "unique perspective." Cheers! :)

Fashion these days is quite bizarre. Scientists postulate that it is essentially a wild hybridization of new-wave, 80s nostalgia, pop, punk, techno-jive, annoying neon, cybergoth, and clown-wear. I don't feel the need to say much more about it... it generally speaks (loudly) for itself.

But then I came across these, and I immediately knew I could not leave fashion out of my blog any longer:
